About the Teacher:
I am originally from a small town outside of Rochester, NY. I graduated from Gananda High School in 2002 and participated in ice hockey and golf all throughout high school. I attended SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Cortland to gain my undergrad and master's degree in physical education, coaching, and health education. Before coming to Fulton, I taught 2 years of PE/Health in the North Rose - Wolcott Central School District. Currently, I teach HS health,coach boy's modified soccer, and girl's JV softball. I have coached numerous other sports including: ice hockey, lacrosse, golf, and baseball. I currently live in Baldwinsville with my wife, son (Jamison), and our two dogs. I enjoy anything active: exercise, hockey, baseball, hiking, biking, etc! About the Course: High School Health is a semester long course that gives the students .5 credits. This course is required for graduation. This course is designed to be hands on and to give students information and experiences on how to live a long, happy, successful, and fulfilling life. The units/topics include: wellness, nutrition and exercise, tobacco, alcohol, medicines and illicit drugs, and human sexuality/reproduction. Course Photos: |
